Clinical Medical Hypnosis
Clinical medical hypnosis can be a very useful adjunct to psychological treatment and counselling. Clinical medical hypnosis is very different from stage hypnosis you may have seen on TV. Clinical medical hypnosis involves a process by which the clinician guides the patient into an altered state of attention and awareness. Patients do not loose control of their awareness, feelings, and consciousness. In fact, you may feel more aware and more in control.
Clinical medical hypnosis can assist greatly in the treatment of psychological conditions such as anxiety, phobias, stress, behaviour change and building confidence and self-esteem. It is often used to assist people to quit smoking or get better at performance.
